New Clothing Size!

Alert! Alert! It was discovered today that Truman can now wear a new clothing size!! He started at Preemie, then Newborn, then 0-3 Months... now, he can wear 3-6 Month clothing!! Whoa! I remember looking at the 3-6 month clothing we had at home while I was organizing things about the time Truman came home (at 3 months actual age) and thinking, "Yeah... I don't know when he'll wear that... um, maybe when he's a toddler." They looked huge at the time. Do you know what that means? Truman is huge. Okay, just kidding about that last part, but new clothing sizes are certainly a milestone around here, and this is a fun one!

Hello everyone!

I can sit on the couch!

Do you like my new clothes?

Hey bird!

Whew. I'm tired today! I think I'll take a nice long nap!

Carrots and Airplanes!

Today was a very exciting day because we not only started a new food... it was a whole new kind of food... veggies!

Hello from the boppy on the couch!

Is anyone out there?

Boppy time is fun!

See any teeth yet?

Mmmm.... carrots.

Mom looks happy... I wonder what's coming.

New food time!

You call that "carrots," huh?

I really don't know why I can't just drink milk forever.

What if Dad tries to feed me?

Um, no... maybe not.

Hm. This is a little better. What's the difference?

It's the airplane method, of course!! Good thinking, Apba!

Eight Months Old!

Truman was full of fun and pranks on the day he turned eight months old!

I turn eight months old today??

Awesome!

Turning another month older wore me out!

I'll just nap right here for a little bit.

Ha ha! Apba and I just played a prank on Umma! Apba was supposed to change me into clean clothes... but when Umma came into the room, I looked like I was wearing the same old thing. Umma couldn't figure out why Apba hadn't changed me... then BOOM! Unsnap the outer clothes, and there are my clean clothes underneath! I'm like... Superbaby! Everyone had a good laugh!

World Traveler

Truman, being the apartment traveler that he is becoming, is studying up for future world travels.

So, this is how the world is shaped, huh?

Where would you recommend I go first?

Fun Friday at Home

Truman spent his day getting revved up for the weekend by practicing his crawling moves and reading with Apba.

Hello out there.

Nice to see you!

If I push my hips up like this...

... and wiggle like that...

... maybe I can move just a little bit.

Oh, Mom... you're so funny!

That runaway bunny is at it again!

But, I've got my bunny and my Apba right here, so I'm all set.

Doctor Day

Today we all went to the Apnea Clinic. Truman weighed 12 lbs. 1 oz. The doctors would like him to eat a little more, but they were happy with how he looked developmentally, and they discontinued one of this medications. Yay! We don't have to go back to see them for two whole months... now, that's progress!

Looks like we're getting ready to go somewhere... I'd better put my jacket on.

Let's go, Apba!

I think I'll snack on this blanket while I wait for my bottle.

Oh... you caught me.

I think I'll just prop my feet up...

... and watch my mobile.

Goodnight, All.

Wednesday, Wednesday

I like to get right up next to the edge of the crib and see what I can reach on the side table.

I also like to keep a little barley right here in case I need a snack later.

Barley Day!

Rice cereal down. Oatmeal down. What's next? Barley. Today was barley day. The good news? The day ended with a wonderful bedtime story.

I hear I have a new food coming, Grandpa.

Let's have it.

I have some food where? On my nose?

Ooooh... not so sure about barley.

So... I don't really understand the appeal of solid foods.

I think I'd rather eat... this.

Grandmother, you can try... but I still don't know about barley.

It's story hour with Auntie Beth!

Whoa... what is that Runaway Bunny up to?

I love my bunny! Thank you!

Awesome story time!

Hi Grandmother.

Here we all are!

Thanks for a great visit, Grandmother, Grandpa, and Auntie Beth! Come back to see me soon!!
