Goodbye 2008!

Truman didn't exactly make it until midnight, but he spent his day enjoying some food.

Can you guess what I'm eating?

Hmmmm. What is it?

Edamame, black beans, toast, and milk. Mmmm.

The Gifts Just Keep Coming

Truman is still recovering, so four days after Christmas, he was still opening gifts... very slowly. He seems to enjoy it, though. Also, yesterday Truman turned 16 months old!

Ducks are way fun!

Christmas

Today, we carried out our Christmas traditions (reading, sugar cookies, gifts, etc.) despite Truman still not feeling well. Then we enjoyed some time with extended family. Merry Christmas, Everyone!

A Christmas tradition!

I'll rise, but I refuse to shine.

The Christmas morning beverages.

Yum. Breakfast.

Mrs. Heidi Claus

Apba says "push," but I'm a little confused.

Ham, potatoes, and peas. Yummy.

Family is gathered.

Yay for penguins!

Just give me some time.... I'll get it open. Merry Christmas, and thank you for the gifts from near and far, everyone!

Christmas Eve

Still under the weather with a nasty stomach bug, but we opened a gift anyway.

Finger puppets are a fun, quiet way to play.

A gift? Should I eat it?

Arrrrgh.

Blech.

Time to put my second ornament on the tree! Two Christmases for me!

Under the Weather

Truman started not feeling well today. No fun with Christmas coming up!

Hi guys.

I don't feel so well.

I'm going to watch some TV with Apba.

Truman Loves Heidi

Truman took today as an opportunity to play with his very first pet, Heidi Butterscotch Rooster Kim.

Hi, Heidi.

Oh, Heidi. I like petting you.

EW! I have cat on my hand!

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

8Today we took pictures for the Christmas card. Below you will find (in addition to other things) some of the runners up.

Hm. Squishy yellow things.

Eggs. Okay. Not bad.

And milk washes it all down.

I like to take my toys with me wherever I go.

Well, Apba... that is bright and shiny.

I'm not sure what to make of all this.

Let's get out of here.

Just kidding!

Ha ha ha ha ha! (So, this is what they call a "belly laugh"!)

You think we're calm and nice, but...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

So funny!

Can I open it?

Wooooow. Look at it shine!

Photo shoots are hard work. Zzzzzz.

High Chair Yoga

Truman has heard all about exercising at your desk at work and whatnot, so he decided he'd come up with some moves specifically for small children.

It's a good idea to prepare for exercise by eating a nutritious snack. String cheese is a favorite.

Here we go, kids. Lift your leg!

Now, stretch and pull!

After working out it's a good idea to sit and stretch some more.

Nice work everyone! Yay!

French Toast and Family

Truman had French toast today for the first time, and also we got to see some family for a bit!

Hmm. This looks new.

Kind of chewy... but not too bad. I'll eat it.

Auntie Essie, is my eating of macaroni and cheese funny?

Do I sense a happy grandmother over my shoulder?

Drinking

Mmmm.

Thanks for the drink, Apba.

Drinking from a glass is awesome.
