Happy Father's Day!

Truman had a wonderful Father's Day with his Apba today. There was playing and cuddling and eating out and, perhaps best of all, exploring fun water in the park on this hot, hot day. Happy Father's Day, everyone!

Mmmm. Ice water is even more delicious through a straw.

Blueberry Bandit

Truman has been practicing more imaginary play lately, and many things have become hats. Also, he still loves those blueberries! If he tried to get away with anything he'd definitely be caught, um, blue-handed.

This is a crown, and being a prince is very serious business.

Visitors and Headgear

Truman had a visit from grandparents, which he enjoyed very much. He entertained them by putting things on his head... at all angles.

Thanks for putting me to sleep, Grandpa.

You use a headband to hold your eyes shut and your ears down, see?

Grandmother has been helping me with my glasses.

I like them best on top of my head or propped on my nose so I can just peek over them.

Big Boy Haircut

Many of you will be pleased to learn that Truman got his first "real" (in other words, his parents did not do it) haircut. He did great and, although curious as always, really didn't seem to mind. They put a video on for him to watch, but he was too busy with the cool car to care.

You brought me to drive a car? Cool!

Backpack and Books

Truman recently got a tiger backpack as a very sweet gift. He loves it, and it appears he's practicing going to the library.

First you pick out a book, and then you put it in your backpack... I think.

Sidewalk Chalk

One of the perks of having concrete floors in your home is bringing outside activities in, so today Truman played with some sidewalk chalk.
