Doctor Day

Since the last post Truman turned 18 months, and today was his checkup. All went well. He weighs 19 pounds 1 oz. and is 28 1/2 inches tall. The doctor is very happy with how he's doing. The only concern is that he's not verbally communicating (although he uses 20 signs now), but he's babbling more and trying to mimic us. He had a speech assessment earlier this week, and the therapist said he could probably benefit from a "jump start," but she isn't too concerned, so we'll probably start seeing a speech therapist before long. Also, we're still waiting on Truman's orthotics to come in so he can have some fancy, fancy feet!

Mama thinks I'm going to wear shoes today, but I'm not.

Let's see where this ride takes us!

I saw my mom use this earlier while she was making popcorn.

Let's just see if I can figure out what to do with it.

Oven mitts are awesome.

Truman is such a busy little boy, I just don't know how he gets it all done.
