When we arrived at the hospital, we had a fun new development waiting. David got to the crib before I did, and he and the nurse decided to surprise me, so while Truman was still all covered up, David suggested I change his diaper. When I uncovered him to do that I saw that he had no cannula! The weekend doctor decided to try taking it off completely and see how Truman did. So far so good. He still needs it during feedings and other exercise (i.e. physical therapy, riding in the car seat), but the rest of the time he can go without! Exciting!
Hm. There is nothing in my nose or on my cheeks...
